General Information: The Lubbock Lake Landmark (over 300 acres in extent) is a nationally recognized archaeological and natural history preserve that offers year-round educational and recreational opportunities for visitors of all ages. The site features a 12,000-year record of human occupation, plant and animal life, and environmental change on the Southern High Plains.
Qualifications/Requirements: The ideal candidate will have a master’s degree in heritage and museum sciences or related fields, and at least three years of supervisory experience in a heritage site setting. The candidate will also have excellent communication, organizational, analytical, and decision-making skills, as well as a passion for preserving and interpreting the natural and cultural history of the region.
Responsibilities: The operations manager will be responsible for managing staff, budgets, facilities, resources, interacting with the public, and other related duties.
